VEGAS – June 8 (day 17)

After leaving Zion early Monday morning, we headed west out of Utah and down I-15 which took us directly into Vegas. We figured since we were going through there anyway, we might as well check out the scene.




Theres a bunch of girls there apparently.


And dudes, if you’re into that.


We parked at Encore an expensive looking casino/hotel in the center of the Vegas strip, walked around and got lunch.


We ran into a dude who gave us free passes to XS, the nightclub at Encore. Intrigued, we pondered staying the night. After sneaking into the Encore Pool (see post from 2 days ago), we agreed the place was nice and decided we were both willing to pay $60 a piece to stay in Vegas. I went to the front desk and asked for a room, but the cheapest one was $180. I tried to smoothtalk my way down to $120, but had little luck. The only option left was to try to win $180 and use the winnings for a room. We gambled away our life savings to no avail.


Ok so actually it was $4 a piece. Oh well, time to move on to California.
