UTAH'S NATIONAL PARKS: more photos

We finished off the day driving through Capitol Reef National Park and heading up into the mountains to camp in Dixie National Forest. Dixie was a pleasant change from camping in Moab. No sand, no mosquitos, and though a bit colder, provided dry firewood for a nice fire.

GRAND STAIRCASE - ESCALANTE NATIONAL MONUMENT

We woke up the next morning refreshed and ready to continue. We drove back down into the desert and were greated by the scenic Grand Staircase. In the middle of the park we ran into a quaint little coffee house with wireless access and food.
